A man has been left with neck injuries after two cars collided on Rochdale Road this morning (Saturday).
The incident happened at around 7am and involved a Citroen and a Volvo.
The 45-year-old male was cut from his car while the police helicopter was called to search for the occupants of the other vehicle after they fled the scene.
