Another week-end of keenly fought finals took place at Hebden Bridge Golf Club, culminating in a crop of extra holes.
The ladies knock-out competition went to the 19th with Gwen Davies eventually overcoming Yorkshire Girls player Neeve Fisher.
The match was a friendly affair with neither contestant able to pull away from the other.
David Pickles could not follow his triumph in the Medal Final on Saturday, when he scored a magnificent 62, with a win in the Charles MacDonald Foursomes final.
Pickles and his partner Lee Amos played Des Senior and Jonathon Cockcroft.
It was a hard fought battle with never more than a hole in it.
Birdies were in abundance and the standard of golf was superb, Senior and Cockcroft winning at the first extra hole.
Pickles’ handicap was cut by a shot after Saturday but he felt that had not had a bearing on the outcome of the match.
David Wilby can look forward to his handicap being reduced after winning the final of the Club Prize against scratch player Iain Powell by 5 and 4.
Powell could not overcome the 22 shots he gave the in- form Wilby, who was delighted with his win.
Calder Valley golfer Adam Cryer finished out of the money in the latest 1836 pro Tour event at Moortown GC on Monday.
Cryer, who is attached to West End GC in Halifax, shot a 76 for joint 14th place out of 29 players.
That was better than another former Halifax-Huddersfield Union club player Rob Booth, who had a 79.
Josh Sims of Caldy GC won the £1,000 first prize with a 67, winning by one shot from Mossock Hall’s David Shacklady.
The next event takes place at Fulford, York on Monday.
