Calder Food Hub is planning a series of six food-related courses in partnership with the Community Foundation for Calderdale.
If you’ve ever wanted to grow vegetables out of season, look after chickens in your back garden or keep bees, here’s your chance to find out more.
The courses begin on Sunday, December 8 (hot beds for winter veg), followed by January 12 (pruning fruit trees), February 9 (top-bar beehives and natural bee keeping), March 16 (edible mushroom cultivation), April 13 (back garden chicken keeping) nand May 11 (making raw food feasts), each at £35.
All will run in Mytholmroyd or Hebden Bridge from 9.30am to 3.30pm. For details email calderfoodhub@ymail.com or call 07985 185057.
