School teachers and pub regulars have had a hair-raising month to support male health charities.
Several members of staff at Todmorden High School raised £300 by growing moustaches for Movember.
Assistant headteacher Jon Zeb said: “I must admit we got some funny looks from visitors and parents, and those first couple of weeks are particularly itchy for the top lip, but it is all for a good cause.”
And regulars at the Shannon and Chesapeake pub, Todmorden, raised more than £600, thanks to support from market stallholders.
