Firefighters from Todmorden and Mytholmroyd attended a house fire at Church Bank off Cragg Road last night (Tuesday).
The incident happened at around 7pm when a log burning stove with a metal flute ignited some timber roof joists on the first floor of the detached farmhouse.
Firefighters were at the scene until 11pm, with 10 personnel involved in putting out the blaze.
One person was inside the property at the time but got out safely, and damage to the house was kept to a minimum.
