An undoubted hoodoo laid to rest, and eyes straight on the next game.

While Clarets fans could spend a couple of days basking in the East Lancashire bragging rights, Sean Dyche won’t have wasted any time getting his players focused for the two other games his Burnley team have this week, beginning last night, after we went to press, with a trip to Birmingham City.

And with Leeds - in a state at the moment but, like last Sunday’s derby opponents Blacksburn, always a potential banana skin for Burnley - visiting on Saturday, need to stay focused. Tuesday results went for Burnley, who must look to capitalise on others wavering at every opportunity.

In the meantime, sometimes pictures tell the story better than words, so enjoy the image below.

Update: No need to panic after the draw at Birmingham (and is some fan site posters’ want) - a good away point that has increased the gap between second and third. A bit more worried about Ings’ injury though.
