Todmorden start a run of five consecutive away games in the Lancashire League at Enfield on Sunday.
Skipper Andrew Sutcliffe will be disappointed to have posted only one win from four games so far and his side are third from bottom.
The Centre Vale Park side lost by 58 runs to pace-setting Rawtenstall, who have gone five points clear, last Sunday.
The visitors made 219 for eight with sound knocks by professional Brett Pelser (46), opener Sam Kershaw (45), Chris Cook-Martin (39) and Nick Payne (31 not out).
Paceman Michael Neser took three for 66 and slow bowler Paul Senior two for 48.
Prolific wicket-taker Keith Roscoe then made life difficult for the hosts, taking five for 39 to restrict Todmorden to 161 for nine in reply.
Neser fell to his overseas counterpart Pelser without scoring. Andrew Sutcliffe (29), Ben Sutcliffe (27), Elliott Gilford (27) and Kristian Garland 26 all made a start but could not go on.
Enfield are third after beating Haslingden last weekend, aided by a half century and four for 19 from South African pro Werner Coetsee.
Hassan Fazal is another who poses a threat to Todmorden. His five for 38 last week included the wicket of Haslingden professional Brenton Parchment.
Tod face trips to Lowerhouse (seventh), Colne (tenth), East Lancashire (fourth) and Rawtenstall (top) after this weekend before returning home against Ramsbottom on Sunday, June 8.
