The St Mary’s Church Pound Sale is now just over a week a way and if you have goods to donate to it, there is still time to do so.
This year’s sale, which raises money for church funds, is on Saturday, May 17, at Todmorden Town Hall, from 10am to 2pm.
A spokesman for the event said pick-up of goods can still be arranged - call 01706 814164 to organise collection.
The spokesman said: “No electrical goods or heavy furniture please, but we would welcome toys, books, bric-a-brac and other householod items,” she said.
The Pound Sale was originally set up around 25 years ago, when major renovations of St Mary’s were being planned. Many items can be got for £1, although prices can be higher for particularly valuable items.
