Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team hopes to raise around £5,000 from sales of its 2015 calendar.
The limited edition fundraising calendar launches soon and the aim is to raise £5,000 to go towards our vehicle fund to help replace one of its ageing emergency response vehicles.
Tim Ingram of the team said: “The stunning local calendar captured by local photographers with team members and vehicles on location in wild and remote places around our region, places such as Norland Moor, Halifax’s Beacon Hill, Mytholmroyd, Hardcastle Crags, Stoodley Pike, Heptonstall Quarry, Brontë Country near Howarth and Midgley to name a few.
“It’s already received an incredible response from local businesses coming onboard and sponsoring each month - local companies including VG Estate Agents, The Old Bridge Inn Ripponden, Springfield Camping, Little Valley Brewery, Stubbing Wharf Inn, Far Barsey Farm Shop, Rokt Climbing Gym, Robin Hood Inn Cragg Vale, Robinwood Activity Centre to name a few.”
More details about the calendar will be featured in the newspaper in the coming weeks.
