Calder Creative, bespoke picture framers and art gallery, is hosting an exhibition of work by local photographer David Bisson at the gallery, Unit 2, Hazelwood Street, Todmorden, from Friday, November 7, until Friday, November 28.
David is an accomplished wildlife photographer whose work is extremely eclectic and involves not only wildlife photography but also another of his passions, aircraft.
It all started as a young lad growing up on the edge of the countryside. It was here that this abiding love for the hills, marshes, mountains moors and other wild places was born, and this love has stayed with him ever since.
His photography takes him all over the country, whether it be in the Highlands after eagles or in the Fens chasing aircraft. The exhibition opens on Friday, November 7, with a preview night between 7pm and 9pm, where David will be present to discuss his work, and will then run every Wednesday and Friday from 10 am until 4 pm until its close.
