Local funeral directors, Valley Funeral Service and Robertshaw Greenwood, are helping families this Christmas by inviting them to pay tribute to their loved ones with special memorial Christmas trees.
Family and friends can write a message, or their loved ones name on a star to be hung on the Christmas Trees.
A special Remembrance Carol Service will be held at Mytholmroyd Methodist Church on Tuesday, December 2, at 7pm.
Everyone is welcome to attend and people will be invited to light a candle in memory of their loved ones during the service.
Any member of the community is welcome to remember their loved one with us, not just families we have had the privilege to look after.
