The festive season is now underway and school children from Todmorden joined together for a special service to mark the beginning of advent.
Held at St Mary’s Church, pupils from schools across the town sang a selection of songs and gave some readings.
The service also included a performance from the Independent Living Group and the Mayor of Todmorden, Michael Gill, was also in attendance.
A cake was presented to the Mayor to celebrate his birthday.
