Animals including a parrot, hens and a cockatoo were taken into care after police raided a building in Calderdale.
Officers from the Upper Valley Neighbourhood Policing Team attended the address on Saturday with a team from the RSPCA after concerns about how the animals were being looked after.
Dogs and a cat were also taken into care.
Inspector Dave Browning, who leads the neighbourhood policing team, said: “We are reducing the fear of anti-social behaviour in the Upper Valley and will listen to people’s concerns and act on them if they tell us about them.”
