Treesponsibility has publicised details of the volunteer group’s New Year planting event.
This year it will be at Windy Harbour Farm, near Heptonstall, on Saturday and Sunday, January 3 and 4.
The pick-up point for lifts up to the planting site will be at 10.30am each morning, at Hebden Bridge Railway Station.
People wanting to take part do need to let the organisers know so that they can cater for the appropriate numbers each day.

To take part you need to bring your own weatherproof clothing and wellington boots.
To help keep out the chill, Treesponsibility will have home made vegetable soup and hot drinks available on site.
For more than a decade now Treesponsibility have been helping re-forest large areas of the Calfder Valley, often in partnership with landowners, planting tens of thousands of new trees in the process, as well as coppicing exising forest areas.
