StoryMagic Theatre treated families to a great seasonal show at Hebden Bridge Little Theatre with A Christmas Wish.
The show was a real variety experience with song, dance, magic and comedy ending with an interactive pantomime of ‘Sleeping Beauty’ keeping little ones involved and inspired throughout, writes John Clark.
With the guidance of Katrina Heath, who starred as Dotty, and choreography by Jessica Earnshaw, special mention must be given to the junior cast.
Alice and Poppy Cheesbrough-Heath, Emily Coates, Elona Hughes-Dennis, Iris Palmer, Lottie Slade and Elysia Sullivan all showed real talent with their great dancing, very lovely singing with some impressive solo performances too. The junior cast should be very proud of all their hard work. They are indeed the stars of tomorrow!
StoryMagic Theatre are great for providing a relaxed and fun theatre experience ensuring all children are included. It’s a great way to introduce the stage to younger ones and it was lovely to see so many children feel confident enough to take part, either acting, dressing up or simply feeling brave enough to go on stage.
With magic from Paul Cheesbrough and Colin Radnedge providing the laughs, keep an eye out for all their future productions.
