Tickets for Calder Valley Youth Theatre’s Big Spring Concert are now on sale.

The Big Spring Concert is the theatre’s annual concert open to everyone between the ages of eight and 18 who wants to try out performing on a stage.

Adrian Horton of CVYT said: “We have some experienced children in this year’s concert alongside around 15-20 new children who have never been in one of our shows.

“As a result we have around 50 children in this year’s concert and it is going to be one of the best yet.

“The show will be a showcase of serious talent and includes some amazing performances from our cast, if some of our rehearsals are anything to go by.

“ Solos and chorus numbers will the order of the day with some other surprises along the way. “

The Big Spring Concert takes place at the Ted Hughes Theatre, Calder High School in Mytholmroyd on March 27 and 28.

Due to the very large cast and the capacity of only around 350 over the two nights, the show is expected to sell out so to ensure you get tickets, please call or text Linda Bradshaw on 07971 428759 or see a cast member for tickets.

Tickets cost just £3 for children under 18 and £7 for adults.

Adrian added: “If you have never been to one of our Big Spring Concerts, then you will be in for a treat.

“ If you have been before, you will know about the ridicolously rich pool of talent we have along the Calder Valley.

“We are very lucky to have such a great cast and we hope you will come and support us and our cast in this years Big Spring Concert.”
