A new season of poetry readings is being lined up at Hebden Bridge’s The Book Case, and the season will begin with a special launch event.
A spokesman for the Book Case team said: “After a winter break we are very excited to be back with wonderful news about this year’s programme of Poetry Nights. Sarah and Carola have been working incredibly hard behind the scenes and have managed to secure funding to bring some world class poets to perform with us over the next few months.
“We really appreciate the support of our audience and are hoping for a great turnout for these fantastic events.”
Advance tickets for events can be booked by contacting the Book Case, 01422 845353.
The programme will be launched at the Market Street shop over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, March 7 and 8.
After that the first event will be on Thursday, March 19, when Ian Duhig and Helen Mort will star. Then on Thursday, April 16, guests will be Andrew Forster, Vicky Feaver; on Thursday, May 21, Eleanor Rees, Mona Arshi and Sarah Corbett; on Thursday, August 13, Jen Hadfield and Andrew McMillan; Thursday, September 17, Jo Shapcott and John McAuliffe; and Thursday, October 15, Tara Bergin and Rebecca Goss.
