Linden Music Studio at Artsmill is presenting a weekend of live performance and art at its Linden Mill, Linden Road, Hebden Bridge, headquarters.
There will be an open mic session spanning the two days in the Live Room of the studio, and the organisers say: “If you fancy coming down to sing a song, tell a story, read a poem or even have a quick DJ mix, come on down.
“We will have a full band set-up including bass and guitar amps, drum kit, vocal mics, piano, two vintage organs and vinyl decks - please bring your own vinyl.
“Priority will be given to acoustic acts on Sunday until 4pm.”
Additionally, live bands will play on the Saturday, from 8pm until late - lined up are United Front, Feather Teeth, Abrasive Pheasants and The Scriptors.
On Sunday, the spring exhibition in the David Wright Gallery showcases work by Dorothy Simister under the title of Ambiguity, opens with a special preview event (2pm to 4pm). There will also be a Spring Fayre for food, crafts and novelty items. After the preview, it runs at the gallery from March 25 to April 12 (Weds-Suns, 11am to 4pm).
