Cragg Vale based fuel company Craggs Energy, recently announced a brand new apprenticeship scheme targeted at local school leavers.
The scheme is looking to recruit six to eight apprentices and is offering a variety of varied roles for the successful candidates including sales, marketing, logistics, finance and administration.
Looking to launch in August 2015, the 12 month apprenticeship will initially teach general commercial business skills and will then encourage the apprentices to specify into one the main disciplines that are on offer.
Craggs Energy are working with Calderdale College to ensure that on completion of the scheme all apprentices will finish with a relevant qualification in their chosen discipline as well as having a guaranteed job within the company.
Craggs Energy CEO Chris Bingham said: “The training will be challenging but will be of the highest quality and will focus on real business skills in a growing 21st century company.”
Craggs Energy are holding an informal Open Morning on Saturday, March 21, at the company’s head office in Cragg Vale (near Mytholmroyd) from 10am.
