Eddie Orlinski clnched the Todmorden Golf Club winter league title with a solid final performance in terrible conditions last Sunday.
Seven or eight players were in the mix at the start of play but the challengers to Orlinski fell away one by one.
Chris Thornsby took second place with Warren Duckworth in third.
Peter Bailey, the new club captain, presented the prizes after a substantial lunch and the celebrations carried on well into the evening with snooker, darts and indoor putting providing a competitive edge to the proceedings.
Alan Stobbs, the winter league organiser and new rabbits captain, was assisted by his brother John in concluded the evening by thanking the hardy breed of golfers who risk their health and sanity by playing through the winter months.
