Hundreds of people gathered on Good Friday to bask in the sunshine and watch the annual Pace Egg plays.
This year students from Calder High School performed two versions of the Midgley Pace Egg version of the play, with classic characters including St George, Tosspot and Bold Slasher.
Over the course of the day, the young cast put on ten performances covering most of the Calder Valley including Banksfield, Mytholmroyd, Todmorden Market, Holme Street and St George’s Square, Hebden Bridge.
Another set of performances from the Heptonstall players included cast members Andy Carter, David Burnop, Jimmy Green, Sydney Roper, Stuart Hought and Neil Hope-Collins.
