The Hebden Bridge Piano Festival returns to the Town Hall this weekend with an action-packed feast of wonderful music.

Musicians headlining the weekend festival are Ashley Wass, Clare Hammond and Gordon Fergus-Thompson, three of the UK’s finest classical pianists who have performed all over the world and released countless recordings between them.

The festival also welcomes contemporary composer and pianist Lola Perrin, duettists James Lisney and Sarah Beth Briggs, acclaimed jazz pianist Zoe Rahman and Isata Kanneh Mason, category finalist of the BBC 2014 Young Musician of the Year.

It is also a festival for and by the community, say the organisers, and so there are inexpensive concerts for children and families, recitals given by local piano students, free jazz and blues gigs and the riverside terrace piano for absolutely anyone to play.

Tickets are still available for most events, and are available on line and from the Town Hall reception desk all weekend.

There is a quick link available for on-line booking, and much more information about the recitals and performers at www.hebdenbridgepianofestival.com
