There will be plenty for both young and old to enjoy at a charity family fun day organised by Grandma Pollards fish and chip shop. The event, on Sunday, will kick of at 9.30am in the Grandma Pollard’s car park and there will be stacks of activities throughout the day. There will a short church service onsite, fun stalls, stocks, a bouncy castle and coconut shy. There will also be a car boot sale and a mini boat regatta. Staff at the shop are donating their time to prepare food including delicious bacon sandwiches and burgers and there will also be a chance to enjoy an afternoon tea later on in the day.
Admission for the car boot sale is £6 for cars and £8 for vans - you can book in the shop or arrive on the day. All proceeds from the day will be donated St Peter’s Church.
