There was plenty for all the family to enjoy at a charity fun day organised by Grandma Pollard’s fish and chip shop.
Stacks of activities kept young and older entertained, including fun stalls, stocks, a bouncy castle and a coconut shy.
And those who wanted to snap up a bargain could browse the car boot sale stalls.
All proceeds from the day, held in the shop’s car park on Sunday, will be donated to St Peter’s Church.
Organiser Polly Rodgers, Grandma Pollard’s granddaughter, said: “It was just brilliant, we haven’t completely totalled up what we raised on the day, but we think it will be around £2,000.
“But it’s not just about raising money, our priority as a family is to bring people together as a community in the village. It was packed and there was a lot of local people, walking around and taking part in the activities.”
