Todmorden town councillors have appointed their Mayor Elect for the civic year 2013/14.
Members voted unanimously in favour of Coun Jayne Booth to become the next Mayor of Todmorden.
She will take the chain of office at the annual Mayor’s Day celebration in May, taking over from Coun Abid Hussain.
