SINGING entertainer - just known as Dave, of Diamond Nights Entertainment - wowed his audience at Todmorden Lions’ annual senior citizens’ concert at St Mary’s Church.
Lions president Mr Michael Clarkson said around 80 guests attended the concert, which also included a raffle and tea and biscuits.
“They loved him, he got them up and singing, they were dancing in the aisles,” said Michael.
Joined by helpers, the Lions served the tea and the event was very successful, said Michael.
“It’s one of the best we’ve had,” he said.
The event was one of a number organised by the Lions during the year, which include the spring duck race and the very popular Rochdale Canal walk, in the autumn as they mix fun and fellowship while raising money for, or running, good causes.
