In one of his final acts as Mayor of Todmorden, Coun Abid Hussain unveiled a bench at Todmorden Health Centre.
The bench, which was previously situated outside the building, was damaged. But Todmorden War Memorials Trust paid to have it refurbished and moved inside for use by people waiting for appointments.
Coun Hussain thanked the trust and the carpenter who carried out the repairs.
