Mytholmroyd’s Chris White single-handedly destroyed Bradshaw’s batting line up as he claimed nine wickets in his side’s crushing Premier Division success.

The man who stopped White achieving a clean sweep was Jack Earle who picked up the wicket of E. Mercer with the score on 60 for six.

Bradshaw were stunned and slumped to a meagre 88 all out, White’s contribution coming at the cost of just 36 runs in 14 overs.

Mytholmroyd had the bit between their teeth and Tom Earle made sure of an early finish by blasting an unbeaten 62 which included 11 fours and two sixes.

George Hampshire and Matthew Hoyle were the leading lights in bottom club SBCI’s 33-run success over Booth in a game reduced to 43 overs

Hampshire rattled 14 fours in his 109 that formed the bedrock of SBCI’s total of 220 for six.

Hoyle then weighed in with the ball, claiming five for 55 as Booth succumbed at 187 for eight, Rick Laycock top scoring with 53.

An unbeaten 89 from Tom Watson saw Queensbury to victory over visitors Oxenhope in Division One.

B. Addison dismissed the Osborne brothers, Bradley and Scott, to leave the home side stunned on two for two. Watson then shared in stands of 61 with Jamie Priestley (21), 74 with Babar Malik (36), and an unbroken 54 with Amjad Ali (32) as the home men eased home with five overs to spare.

Earlier, Oxenhope had posted a disappointing 187 for eight, Josh Tetley making 65 off 66 balls and sharing a 51 run fifth wicket stand with Josh Fleetwood (27).

However, with no other batsmen able to impose themselves on the Queensbury bowlers the visitors failed to set a challenging total.

Amjad Ali bowled throughout to take five for 73 and take his season’s haul to 26 while junior player Joe Brown again impressed with the new ball taking three for 22.

Bridgeholme eased themselves off the foot of the table despite suffering a heavy 135 run defeat at the hands of promotion-hopefuls Sowerby St Peters.

Sowerby batted first and racked up a healthy 382 for eight.

A number of players made big scores as the bowlers were made to suffer.

Bridgeholme knew they needed to get off to a rapid start but found themselves struggling at 81 for five.

Bob Fielden was holding the innings together, but sadly he found himself running out of partners before his became the ninth wicket to fall having made a defiant 122.

The writing was on the wall at that stage and Bridgeholme’s innings ended on 247.

Wibsey Park Chapel claimed maximum points from a narrow one run victory over Luddenden Foot in Division Two.

Chapel had Adam Beesley unbeaten on 52 in their total of 159 for four, but it took a two-pronged attack from Paul and Stuart Fenton to keep plucky Foot at bay, the pair finishing with four for 53 and four for 40 repectively as the visitors finished agonisngly short.

Old Town lifted themselves up a place following their one wicket win at Shelf.

The visitors only had 10 men but sent the hosts back for 150 with W. Hussain claiming four wickets and Adil Shah three.

Old Town chipped away at their target which they reached for the loss of eight wickets, opener T. Rafiq top-scoring with 37.
