Children at Walsden St Peter’s Primary School have been creating a new outdoor play area, and as part of this project they held an art and craft week.
And it was an event which involved all of the family working together.
Mums, grandmas, aunties and friends came along to school for one of the afternoons to help the children with some knitting and stitching.
“The school feels the results are amazing and Walsden will see new species of birds, butterflies and flowers over the next few weeks when we display our handiwork,” said a spokesman.
The school has been busy this summer term and recently held their summer fair, after which the choir also went on to perform at nearby St Peter’s Church summer fair which was held later that same day.
