Upper Calder Valley motorists are warned that a connecting street in Hebden Bridge will be closed to vehicles for three weeks while work is undertaken to investigate sewer flooding.
Carlton Street will be closed while Yorkshire Water carries out investigative work to see how to reduce the risk of sewer flooding in the area.
Yorkshire Water specialist partners Mott Macdonald Bentley will start investigative surveys from Monday, September 15.
A road closure will be in place on Carlton Street at its junction with Albert Street, and traffic lights will be in operation on Hope Street and Albert Street to ensure the safety of road users and the on-site team.
While these works are being carried out the local businesses will be open as usual to trade.
