The end of the Lancashire League cricket season at Todmorden Cricket Club also heralds the return of the club’s famous beer festival.
This year’s event, the 15th, takes place at the club’s Centre Vale, Burnley Road, ground on Thursday, September 25, Friday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, running until late each day with Thursday’s event starting at 5pm and Friday and Saturday from noon.
Forty four beers and ciders will be there to sample, many of them sourced from local breweries this time around, and as well as the main hall, where food will also be available , a marquee next to the main function suite will showcase two continental beers on draught, bottled continental beers and some wines.
Prices have been pegged to the same level as last year and entry to the festival is by programme, which festivalgoers can buy on the door and use at separate sessions.
