Come and dance your socks off!
That’s the aim of a fun family event organised by a campaign group at the Birchcliffe Centre, Hebden Bridge, on Saturday, September 20.
The Calderdale Freedom from Torture Supporters Group is organising a ceilidh, with live music and dance led by the highly rated group, the Peace Works Band. There will be a licensed bar, buffet food and an art sale.
Tickets are £6 (£2 for children) and can can be purchased on the door or in advance at The Bookcase, Hebden Bridge.
Everybody is welcome at the evening, which will run from 7pm to 10pm.
A spokeswoman said: “We are raising money for Freedom from Torture, a human rights organisation that works with people who have survived torture and who come to the UK seeking safety.So come and enjoy yourself and help us raise money too!”
