Hebden Bridge band Taste Buds have bagged a support slot to a forthcoming Halifax gig by highly-rated Liverpool-based Americana outfit The Good Intentions.
Playing a style of country music inspired by the late ex-Byrd and Flying Burrito Brother Gram Parsons, The Good Intentions play at the Actors Workshop, St James Street, Halifax, on Saturday, January 24, with the evening’s music starting at 7pm.
The Good Intentions were the British Country Awards Americana Act of the year 2011 with original songs - and a few old ones - with Midwest Records, USA, concluding: “The goddamn Brits did it again, took our music and sold it back to us taking it up a notch along the way.” Support from is from Taste Buds and Delicious Biscuits.
