It’s a tricky conversation which parents dread, but the explanation of how babies are made has never seemed so surreal.
In ‘The Odd Life of Timothy Green’, which is showing at Hebden Bridge Picture House over the weekend, Cindy and Jim Green are trying to start a family.
After receiving bad news from the fertility doctor, they try to bury their dreams of having a baby by writing out all the great traits their child would have and putting them in a box in the garden.
During a freak storm in the middle of the night, they awake to find a boy named Timothy, with leaves growing from his ankles, standing in their kitchen.
The film, starring Jennifer Garner, will be screened on Saturday and Sunday at 1.30pm.
