Calder Valley Youth Theatre can’t wait to start rehearsing for their next big show, the very popular musical, Grease.
Already, CVYT’s Pink Ladies have been cast and they’re keen to get the show on the road but before they do they are in need of some Burger Palace boys, known in the film as The T-Birds.
The youth theatre is looking to cast at least six older boys aged between 15 and 18 years old.
Two of the roles are great for any budding actors and for those talented in both singing and acting there are two major roles up for grabs, said production manager Stephen Garrod.
A workshop is planned on Sunday, June 2, at Hebden Bridge Town Hall for anyone who is interested in taking part.
All the details can be found on CVYT’s website, cvyt.co.uk or ring Stephen on 07894097288 for more details.
Grease will be performed at the Halifax Playhouse in November.
“This is a great opportunity for our local talent to get involved in what promises to be a fantastic show. Our last show, ‘Cats’, was a sell out, with a standing ovation every night.
“So come on boys, our Pink Ladies are waiting for you,” said Stephen.
