Todmorden has been selected as the third town to be visited by Alton Towers Resort’s Fantastical Express bus on Saturday, August 11.
Throughout the summer, Alton Towers resort is inviting people to nominate their towns for a well-deserved visit by the Fantastical Express which will whisk residents away to the theme park. Residents can apply for their place on the Fantastical Express at www.altontowers.com/escape and be in with a chance of winning a completely free day out at Alton Towers.
Katherine Duckworth, head of consumer marketing at the Alton Towers said: “We have been inundated with nominations from all over the country but the nomination for Todmorden really stood out for us. Having been affected by serious flooding over the last few months, we really hope that by sending the Fantastical Express to the town, and giving the community a great summer escape, we can help to bring something positive to Todmorden.”
