The remaining ladies played a stableford alongside the final. Lady Captain Janet Topham won after a card play off from Gill Neely, both having scored 34 points.

The Lady Captain’s day out at Ellesmere Golf Club was a great success. The winning team in the Texas Scramble comprised Edna Snook, Irena Brown and Shirley Cook.
